James Peeping - Lili of the Valley

Hello everyone and thanks for visiting my blog.  Today I am sharing a card I made using the James Peeping image by Lili of the Valley.

I cut a large tag from watercolour paper and printed the image using Memento ink.

I used Inktense blocks to put small amounts of colour on the image.

Then, I took a damp brush to blend the colour and add more where needed.

I punched a fancy edge on the cardstock and mounted the tag on the front with some patterned paper.

I punched some flowers from the same paper and shaped the petals*, then I layered them with some sticky flat back gems.

I have also used a Lili of the Valley sentiment "Just to Say" from the postmark collection of stamps.

Thank for reading this post. Please leave me a comment and I will visit your blog in return.

*Place the flower on a soft pad - I use a dishcloth or some folded kitchen paper and rub the petals with an embossing tool.  This will make them curl.
